Why it is my favorite park . . . .

I thought I would share some photos with you from this morning's jog at Crown Hill Park, so you may see for yourself why it is so lovely, charming, splendid, etc. The video is from the wildlife refuge, and since I didn't have Aidan with me this morning, I ventured around in there. A family of coyotes lives in there, so that is one of the main reasons they don't allow dogs inside the refuge. Also, it is a natural preservation area, so I assume they don't really want various presents being left around.

A bridge inside the wildlife refuge.

Large tree damaged by the ferocious winds we had the other day.

A majority of the off-path running trails were looking like this - tough to navigate - but fun!

One of the signs depicting the various wild animals you might run into  . . . . I have seen about half-a-dozen different coyotes, so there are a bunch living there. Neato.

  1. I love Crown Hill! Especially its close proximity to the ghosts of the cemetary! We saw a fox there--and once a red-winged blackbird attacked Karen's hair there. Good times!
